Intellectual property
The text, layout and illustrations on this website belong to Matthieu Guirlinger. Any reproduction, even partial, requires prior permission.
The logos and names of the organisations mentioned remain the property of their owners. They are shown as references, for projects I worked on, either directly or within an agency.
Personal data
The data controller is Matthieu Guirlinger, who can be reached at matthieu@guirlinger.com. The website only collects personal data when you contact me.
Data collected and purpose
The contact form collects your name, your email address, your message and, if you provide them, your company and what you need. This information is only used to reply to you and, where relevant, to discuss a contract. It is never sold or used for marketing.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention
Messages are kept for three years after our last contact, then deleted.
Recipients and processors
Only I read your data. Two providers are involved on the technical side:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and protects the form against bots (Turnstile service). Turnstile analyses technical signals, such as your IP address and browser, solely to tell humans from bots (Turnstile privacy policy).
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, United States) delivers the messages sent through the form to my inbox.
Both providers are based in the United States. Transfers are covered by their certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, email me at matthieu@guirlinger.com. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
Cookies
This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. Only the contact form, through Turnstile, may set items strictly necessary to protect it against bots, which do not require your consent.
Traffic is measured with Plausible, a self-hosted tool that sets no cookies and stores neither your IP address nor any persistent identifier: visits are counted anonymously and in aggregate (page views, country, browser, referring site). This measurement does not require your consent.
